Welcome to our counseling practice. As a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, Sonja Williams has helped repair and enrich marriages and interpersonal relationships for more than twenty years. Sonja Williams attained an undergraduate degree in family studies, and a Master of Divinity degree, focused on pastoral counseling for couples and families. Complimenting her field experience, Sonja Williams completed her Master of Science degree in marriage and family therapy.
At the University of Maryland, Sonja Williams became an adjunct faculty member, and supervised marriage and family therapy graduate students. She was also adjunct faculty at Johns Hopkins University, teaching graduate level marriage, and family therapy courses. While serving as a psychiatric therapist and faculty at Johns Hopkins, Sonja Williams launched her private therapy practice (Sonja Williams and Associates, LLC.,) and a couples and family coaching service called LoveSavers International, Inc.
Sonja Williams and Associates, LLC., provides clinical mental health services, in two convenient locations in Largo and Silver Spring, Maryland. Our compassionate team of mental health experts, provides services that include:
